Marie Hancock was raised in North Dakota started working with horses at a very young age. Marie learned how powerful relationships with horses can be as an adolescent. Especially because her father was a licensed mental health professional, her interest in psychology created her vision of working with people and with horses for the betterment of both. This came from a deep longing to be of service in a way that also fulfilled her own passion of love for the outdoors and working with horses. Marie’s professional breadth of knowledge extends from military/veteran individuals and families to clients suffering from addiction, depression, and suicidal ideation; from those on the Autistic Spectrum and who have ADHD and other learning differences to terminally ill clients; and clients suffering from anxiety, grief and loss challenges. She has worked with a diverse group of Mental Health practitioners, is an avid animal lover and advocate, and is dedicated to continually deepen and extend her knowledge, her skills, and her ability to serve clients with the Eagala Model.

Amy Englert - Equine Specialist

Certified in the Eagala Model

I am a Colorado native who was first introduced to horses by my grandpa. I grew up riding morgans, and then came back to horses as an adult. My horse Enzo and I compete in dressage, and I love the lifelong learning horsemanship brings. I have degrees in biology and animal behavior, and am passionate about the human-animal connection. I live with two dogs, a husband, and too many houseplants to count.

Megan Roche - Equine Specialist

Certified in the Eagala Model

My name is Megan Roche and I have been Eagala certified since 2013 as an Equine Specialist. Horses have been a part of my life since I was six years old consisting of riding, training and showing horses. I owned my first horse when I was in the seventh grade through my senior year in high school. My continued love and passion for horses has brought me to becoming an Equine Specialist along with years of therapy for myself. Utilizing horses and therapy together are a match for me, knowing the healing power horses bring and the benefit from being around them.
